How to check these facts yourself
You don't have to take this page's word for any of it. Before you pay:
- Read the members-area terms, which are the contract and name the company you're dealing with.
- Look at checkout, which shows each plan's price, how often it renews and the billing name for your statement.
- Check Settings > Billing once you've joined, so you know where cancelling lives before you need it.
If anything here doesn't match what you see, tell us through the members help centre with the page address.
What we don't claim
We don't publish member numbers, success stories or ratings badges, and we don't describe profiles as checked or verified. We don't run events or offer matching tests.

Questions people ask
Who is behind Local Slags?
Ambervine Inc, a Delaware company at 131 Continental Drive, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA. The members-area terms, governed by Delaware law, are the contract you agree to when you join. Account and billing questions go to the members help centre.
Is Local Slags free?
Partly. Joining, creating a profile, browsing and receiving interest are free. Reading and replying to messages needs a paid membership, and the members area shows the price of each plan before you pay. Memberships renew automatically until you cancel in Settings > Billing.
Are Local Slags members verified?
Not by default. Every profile photo is reviewed, and members can buy an optional ID-verified badge, checked by LEM Verify with an ID document and a selfie. What members write about themselves, including age, name and location, isn't checked, so treat profiles as people's own descriptions.
Who can see my profile?
Members of Local Slags and members of partner sites in the same network, because profiles are shared across it. Each profile shows which site it was created on. Choose photos and a username that you're comfortable with that wider audience seeing.
